Estée Lauder at BlogHer '09
I have never been able to resist the siren song of the blue and gold make-up containers of Estée Lauder, so I was excited to be given the opportunity to visit the counter in Chicago during BlogHer '09.
On Thursday, July 23, bloggers descended on the Estée Lauder counter at Macy's in Chicago's elegant Water Tower Place to check out new products. The staff welcomed us and were eager to show us what was going on the world of Estée Lauder and there was even the opportunity to sign up for a makeover to check out what they have to offer.
The Estée Lauder counter offers a variety of services including make-up and skin care consultation, product recommendations and samples to help you achieve the look you want. Don't forget about Estée Lauder fragrances and they also offer a 2-minute touch-up to help you learn how to get a new look.
We learned about the famous Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. This anti-aging serum works at night to repair your skin to reduce the visible signs of aging and to provide continuous hydration. We received a 10 day sample, and I'm in the middle of checking it out, and I hope I'm on the way to looking 20. OK, OK, I at least I hope I'm on the way to better skin. Though it's a bit pricey, it's got a lot of technology and research behind it, and they are very excited about it, so it looks like it's worth giving it a try.
